- Hackers Are Targeting Claude Accounts Again
What You Need to Know
Hackers and cybercriminals are once again targeting users Claude accounts, intent on hijacking them to exploit for their own gain.
They are utilizing malware to steal your login details and using that to impersonate you before taking over your AI companion.
What You Should Do
- Scan for malware. Make sure that any computer you are using for Claude is up-to-date on security, and perform a malware and virus scan on it.
- Update your login. After the computer is clean, use it to log into your Claude account, update your password, and enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
- Update your payment. Following the cleaning and password update, be sure to re-enter any payment information you have tied to your Claude subscriptioon.
